Using the information and experience gained through research, the investigator created the first prototype of the frontend emotion rendering system. The system, made in TouchDesigner, displayed the current emotion of the user as a series of undulating coloured lines. The colour of the lines reflected the colour currently selected on the emotion graph of the Neural Scores application, and the severity of the movement reflected the emotional activation of the participant. This system was effective at displaying emotions in an artistic manner. However, it failed to display a history of the emotions, rather it only displayed emotions on at a time. See attached.
